A Compact Infrastructure for Multimodal Logistics
The NanoHub facilitates the transfer of goods between trucks, utility vehicles, and cargo bikes. Compact, self-contained, and modular, it allows for the rapid creation of a transshipment point as close as possible to logistics flows.
Whether installed as a standalone system or as part of a network, it adapts to the needs of businesses, logistics operators, cities, and property owners.
Secure access with the NanoHub OVO app
Each NanoHub is equipped with the NanoHub OVO app, which allows authorized users to open the storage unit from their phone via a secure Bluetooth connection.
This access solution is included with the NanoHub and allows for standalone operation without the need for permanent on-site staff.

How Relay Points Work
The truck drops off the goods at a NanoHub along its route. They can then be picked up by a cargo bike or a suitable vehicle to complete the last few kilometers.
This process also applies to reverse logistics: goods collected in the city are consolidated at the NanoHub and then picked up for transport to a logistics, cleaning, or recycling center.
Multi-stakeholder Micro-Logistics Zone
Several NanoHubs can be grouped together to create a micro-logistics zone tailored to local volumes and needs. Its capacity grows gradually as new operators join.
When an area is shared among multiple users, OVO Booking supplements the access application with an interface for booking and managing time slots.
Would you like to manage a network of shared warehouses?
OVO assists cities and landowners in setting up and operating networks that combine NanoHubs with existing storage facilities, including reservation, access, user management, and contractual frameworks.
Transshipment without repackaging
The use of pallets, roll containers, and towable modules facilitates the transfer from one mode of transportation to another. This allows goods to be transferred quickly, with less handling.
Simple and flexible installation
The NanoHub can be set up quickly, without requiring a utility connection or permanent foundations. It is suitable for both long-term installations and temporary needs, such as construction sites, events, or logistics trials.
NanoHubZone: Toward a Public Service Infrastructure
Rolled out in Brussels and the Barcelona region, the NanoHubZone project is paving the way for a new generation of urban logistics that is quieter, cleaner, and better integrated into the city.
By demonstrating that a network of modular NanoHubs can be shared among multiple stakeholders through a secure booking platform, the project lays the groundwork for a “public service” logistics infrastructure for the last mile, just like mobility networks.
This approach paves the way for networks of urban storage facilities accessible to various operators, combining NanoHubs with existing infrastructure based on regional needs.

Prix Cristal de Roche
OVO won the 2023 Cristal de Roche award from the Alpine Initiative as a “project that helps reduce transportation and boost the local economy.”
This distinction is linked to the positive results achieved through the use of Nano-hubs.
